Reverend, Heather Kattan

Heather Kattan was appointed as Pastor in 2016. Prior to serving at Beacon of Hope in Framingham, Pastor Heather was previously employed at churches in Canton, Worcester, and Tewksbury, MA. She received her bachelors degree from Hamilton College, majoring in Religious Studies with a minor in Philosophy. She earned her master of divinity degree from Boston University (BU) School of Theology. BU is the oldest theological seminary of American Methodism and is one of thirteen theological schools maintained by the United Methodist Church. Currently, Pastor Heather, her husband Dave, and their son Jacob reside in Framingham, sharing their home with their two cats, Zelda and Link. In her free time, Pastor Heather enjoys pilates, swimming, taking walks with people, and playing with any cute and fuzzy creatures.

Judy Bortolotti

Judy Bortolotti has worked at Beacon of Hope as church administrator since 2015, and previously served as a church administrator at Fisk United Methodist Church in Natick. Before her work in church administration, Judy was a bakery manager for 20 years. At her home church, she serves as part of church leadership, in the role of Director of Guest Experiences/First Impressions. Judy lives with her husband, Alfredo, and their two children, Gabriella and Jimmy, along with their cat Peanut. In addition, their family has fostered over 30 children in the past 15 years. In her free time, she enjoys Zumba, baking, gardening, reading and spending time with friends and family.

Kathy Zanella

Kathy has worked as the Sexton for Beacon of Hope United Methodist Church for fifteen years. She wears many hats that include cleaning, plumbing, and caring for the after-school students from the Brighton School that rents space in our building. She graduated from Mass Bay Community College, Wheelock College and has an Early Education License for preschool to kindergarten. She also owned a private nursery-to-kindergarten school for twenty-five years. She enjoys sewing, bowling, and scrapbooking. She shares her life with her husband George, their son and his family, and their daughter and her family.
